Who can use IMTutor — age requirements and registration rules

AGE

Age Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform.
  • Users between 13 and 17 years must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before registering.
  • Users who are 18 years or older may register independently.
⚠️ IMTutor does not knowingly allow registration by users under 13. If we discover a user is under 13, their account will be immediately terminated.

Registration Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information at all times.
  • Not be barred from receiving services under any applicable Indian law or regulation.
  • Not have had a previous IMTutor account suspended or terminated for policy violations.
TUT

Eligibility for Tutors

In addition to the general requirements above, Tutors must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age to offer tutoring services on the Platform.
  • Hold genuine qualifications, certifications, or experience relevant to the subjects they list.
  • Comply with all applicable laws governing private coaching and child safety in India.
IMTutor reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be ineligible, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
