Welcome to IMTutor ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), an online tutoring marketplace at imtutor.co.in, connecting students, parents, and tutors in Aligarh and beyond.

• "User" — any person who accesses or registers on the Platform, including Students, Parents, and Tutors.
• "Student" — any individual who uses the Platform to find or engage tutoring services.
• "Tutor" — any individual who registers on the Platform to offer tutoring or coaching services.
• "Service" — the marketplace, directory, communication, and related features provided by IMTutor.
• "Session" — a tutoring class conducted online or offline arranged through the Platform.

• Be at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 must have verifiable parental/guardian consent.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Not be barred from receiving services under applicable Indian law.

IMTutor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be ineligible.

Both Tutors and Students must create a registered account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

• Provide truthful and accurate profile information, including qualifications and subject expertise.
• Maintain professional conduct in all communications with students and parents.
• Honour agreed-upon schedules and demo class commitments.
• Set their own fee rates transparently; IMTutor charges zero commission.
• Not solicit students to move off-platform in a manner intended to defraud or harm other users.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including those governing private coaching and child safety.

• Provide accurate information when posting tuition requirements.
• Treat tutors with respect and professionalism.
• Honour agreed schedules and pay fees directly to the tutor as mutually agreed.
• Not misuse tutor contact details obtained through the Platform.

IMTutor may offer optional premium features in the future; any charges will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

You grant IMTutor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your submitted content for the purpose of operating the Platform. Your submitted content must be accurate, must not infringe any third-party IP, and must not contain offensive or unlawful material.

• Post false or misleading qualifications or reviews.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Advertise services unrelated to education or tutoring.
• Attempt to circumvent Platform security or scrape data without authorisation.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable Indian law.

IMTutor provides the Platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy of tutor credentials or background.

IMTutor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

All trademarks, logos, design elements, and content created by IMTutor are our exclusive property. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall first be resolved through mutual negotiation, failing which they shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

IMTutor may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance. We will endeavour to notify registered users via email of material changes.
